India will take on formidable Spain in the third game of Pool-A of the Hockey World Cup at the Hague, Netherlands, today. India have lost its last two matches against higher ranked teams, Belgium and England, in the final moments of the game due to late goals. Spain on the other hand drew its first match against England 1-1 but went on to lose its second match to Australia 3-0 allowing Australia to on top the points table in Pool A. Despite suffering blows in its last two matches India will be having an edge in terms of confidence as the team had played quality hockey and given a tough challenge to its opponents. Captain Sardar Singh brimmimg with confidence said, the team has worked on its defence and is fully prepared to take on the livewire Spanish team in today's match.
