The Indian women's hockey team have completed their tour of Malaysia with a memorable 6-0 series whitewash. At Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday, they won the last match 5-2. At half-time, India led 5-1. The series against Malaysia was part of the team's groundwork for the Commonwealth Games to be held in Glasgow from July 23. Congratulating the team on their grand finish, Dr.Narinder Batra, Secretary General, Hockey India said the trip has served as a fine build-up to the Commonwealth Games. The Indian team was led by midfielder Ritu Rani.
