Uttar Pradesh Wizards will take on Ranchi Rhinos and Delhi Waveriders will meet Punjab Warriors in the two semi-final matches of the inaugural edition of the Hockey India League today. The Uttar Pradesh-Ranchi match will be played in Ranchi at 5 PM, while the Delhi-Punjab fixture will take place at 8 PM at the same venue. The round-robin stage of the tournament ended on Thursday, with Delhi finishing as the table toppers, Ranchi on the second spot, Uttar Pradesh on third and Punjab on fourth. Mumbai Magicians, the fifth participating team, finished at the bottom and crashed out of the tournament, after winning just one game from 12 matches. The final match of the competition is slated to take place at Ranchi tomorrow. Besides, the third-fourth place match will also be played at Ranchi tomorrow.
