Hockey India League: Jaypee Punjab Warriors to take on four competitiors starting Jan 14<br/>

Jaypee Punjab Warriors, one of the teams of 100 crore Rs.Hockey India League are ready to take on the challenge with the other four competitiors in the tournament which is starting January 14th at New Delhi. The first match of the tournament is scheduled between Delhi Waveriders and Jaypee Punjab Warriors. Other six matches of the Punjab Warriors would be played in Jalandhar.AIR Correspondent reports that the Chief Coach, Barry Dancer, who is an Australian has said that Indian hockey requires corporate support to bring it at the forefront as it used to be. The Hockey India League, which has become a 100 crore rupees league for the first time in the world hockey, is having five teams in total. Besides, Punjab Warrior, other four teams include Delhi Waveriders, Ranchi Rhinos, Mumbai Magicians and Uttar Pradesh Wizards. The final would be played on February 10th.
