In the match played at Stellenbosch, South Africa, last night, Poonam Rani struck twice and the other goal was netted by Vandana Kataria. The Indians had also beaten Scotland earlier on the tour. Yesterday's result helped the Indians conclude their South Africa tour on a winning note. The Indian eves recovered well from the 2-3 defeat against Germany in their last outing on Sunday.
