The Indian Men's Hockey team today won the second match of its Test tour to New Zealand, 3-1 to level the 4-match series, 1-1. The match was played at Nelson. India had lost the tour opener, 0-2 yesterday. The third game will be played in Christchurch on Friday, with the last game slated for Sunday. The tour is part of the preparation for the Hockey World League final which will be hosted by India later this year, and next year's Rio Olympics.
