Hockey India has announced the women's hockey squad for FIH Champions Challenge One tournament to be held in Glasgow, Scotland, next month. The 18-member squad will be led by Midfielder Ritu Rani, while Midfielder Chanchan Devi would be the Vice-Captain. Forwards Navneet Kaur and Neha Goyal have been included for the first time in the squad.In the eight-nation tournament, India are placed in Pool A with Korea, Belgium and the host, Scotland. Pool B comprises teams from the United States, South Africa, Spain and Ireland. India will take on Korea in their opening match on April 27.The team will depart for Ireland on April 10 to play a three-match test series against their national side to acclimatise ahead of the Champions Challenge 1.
