Hockey India today announced a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh each for players and head coach of Junior men's Asia Cup winning team. Hockey India also announced Rs 50,000 for the other support staff of the team. Additional prizes of rupees one Lakh each were announced for Harmanpreet Singh the highest scorer of the tournament with 15 goals and Vikas Dahiya the best goalkeeper. India defeated Pakistan 6-2 in a scintillating performance to lift the cup.
