Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today toured a digital police station in China's financial hub Shanghai and interacted with the Indian community. Working towards close security cooperation with China specially to combat terrorism, Mr Singh visited the police station where all the records are kept in digitised form. Quoting sources, PTI reports that Mr Singh was briefed by Chinese officials on the best practices and audio visual monitoring of crime.<br/><br/>Mr Singh had spent the last three days in Beijing meeting Premier Li Keqiang and interior security officials Guo Shengkun and Chinese security czar Meng Jianzhu. In Beijing, he also visited Public Security University and First Research Centre on Security to understand the Chinese internal security system. He later addressed the Indian Association of Shanghai where over 350 Indians working in Shanghai and nearby cities including 50 medical students attended the meeting held at the Infosys auditorium. <br/><br/>In his interaction, Mr Singh appreciated the role of the Indian community in fostering good economic relations with China and called on them to contribute to 'Make in India' and Smart Cities campaign of the government.
