Union home minister Rajnath Singh today laid foundation stone of various projects for enhancing rail facilities in Lucknow with a cost of 108 crore Rupees in the presence of railway minister Suresh Prabhu. <br/><br/>Spea?king on the occasion Mr. Prabhu said that earlier all the focus was on announcing new rail projetcs and new trains without paying any attention to augment the passenger facilities and fulfilling older projects. <br/><br/>Now this trend has changed under NDA regime as we are committed towards the safety of passengers and providing them the best possible facilities. He claimed that now a days Raiways is laying 7.8 Kms rail line in a day which will be enhanced to 18 Kms per day in coming days. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that on this occasion the rail minister said that clean station, clean coaches and favourite food to the passengers are of of prime focus to the railways. He said that railways has developed a SMS platform where passengers can lodge their complain about cleanliness and food problems.
