Home Minister P Chidambaram has asked all Chief Ministers to be vigilant against communal violence. In his letter, he asked all Chief Ministers to identify areas and towns which are communally sensitive and to maintain constant vigil in those areas.

Expressing concern over some recent events, the letter further said over 100 incidents has been reported in the last two months in which 26 lives were lost.
