<span style="color: #222222;">Home Minister Amit Shah today paid tributes to social reformer Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar on his birth anniversary. In a tweet, Mr Shah said, Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar was the pioneer of Bengal renaissance, destroyed social evils with his inspirational thoughts and spent his whole life in building an educated and progressive society. The Home Minister said, Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar was a strong supporter of education in the local language and strongly opposed casteism.</span><br />
