Union Home Minister Amit Shah today visited the pilgrim town of Puri in Odisha and offered prayers at the Shri Jagannath Temple. <br />'' <br />'' He had darshan of the presiding deities near the sanctum sanctorum and lighted lamp, while paying obeisance to the presiding deities Lord Balabhadra, Devi Subhadra and Lord Jagannath. <br />'' <br />'' The Home Minister was accompanied by Union ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Pratap Sarangi and Prahlad Singh Patel during his visit to Puri. After offering prayers, the home minister left for Bhubaneswar for a visit to Lingaraj temple of Lord Shiva. <br />'' <br />'' Yesterday, he had chaired a meeting of the Eastern Zonal Council in Bhubaneswar which was attended by chief ministers of Odisha, West Bengal and Bihar.
