Union Home Minister Amit Shah today addressed an election rally in favour of the BJP alliance candidates in Ludhiana for Punjab assembly elections. Remembering Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Mr Shah said, Punjab is India's soul. He said, the state has made India self sufficient in food production. He also paid tributes to Kartar Singh Sarabha during his speech. Mr Shah raised the issues of unemployment, drugs and farmers' plight in the state during his speech. He accused CM Charanjit Singh Channi and AAP's Arvind Kejriwal of ruining Punjab. He said, Modi Government has made maximum purchase of crops on MSP and paid farmers directly through their bank accounts.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;Mr Shah assured that if NDA government comes to power in Punjab, it will free border state of drugs in five years.
