He said that peace has been established in North East region due to the efforts of Narendra Modi government. Participating in the 400th birth anniversary celebration of Ahom general Lachit Barphukan in New Delhi on Thursday evening, Mr. Shah urged Assam Chief Minister to get translated the books on Lachit Barphukan in atleast 10 languages. He said that time has come to revisit the course of history for the largers benefits of the people. Mr. Sarma said that Lachit Barphukan was successfully prevented the expansion policy of Aurangzeb . The Chief Minister further said that the celebration of the 400th birth anniversary of Lachit Barphukan has re -united the Assamese society.</span>
