In Jammu and Kashmir, one top militant of Hizbul Mujahideen was killed in an encounter at Batpora village of Awantipura Tehsil in Pulwama district. <br/> <br/>Superintendent of Police Bashir Ahmed Khan told our Pulwama correspondent that police and security forces cordoned off the village Batpora after having specific information of presence of militants. <br/> <br/>According to Mr Khan killed militant has not been identified yet. Searches are continuing. <br/>
