In Jammu and Kashmir, a top ranking Commander of Pro-Pak militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen was shot dead by another Hizbul militant in Doda district of Jammu Division late last night. <br/> <br/>According to official sources, Abdul Latif, who was recently recruited by Hizbul Mujahideen outfit shot dead his associate, the most wanted terrorist Chota Shakeel , after a scuffle took place between the two. <br/> <br/>Later, Latif surrendered before Special Task Force of Jammu and Kashmir Police and Rashtriya Rifles along-with his AK 47 rifle and two magazines. The incident took place in village Lalore of Dessa area of Doda district. <br/> <br/>AIR correspondent reports, Chota Shakeel was the most wanted militant who was operating in Doda, Kishtwar and upper reaches of these twin districts. He was involved in various militancy related incidents including killing of many innocent persons in mountainous Doda district. <br/> <br/>He had given slip to Security Forces on many occasions during various encounters. With his killing, the Hizbul Mujahideen outfit has received a severe setback. Of late he had started fresh recruitment of youth in the outfit to replenish the dwindled number of cadres in his militant outfit. <br/> <br/>
