An HIV infected house-wife, who was admitted to the government run Calcutta Medical College Hospital (CMCH), allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the roof top of the medical centre on Saturday. The 24-year housewife was admitted to the CMCH, in central Kolkata on Friday with the aid of non-government organisation (NGO). She was resident of Tarkeshwar in Hoogli district. Hospital sources said that they had made adequate arrangements for the new patient who suffered from depression and other skin ailments.
