The Supreme Court today agreed for final hearing on Maharashtra Government appeal challenging acquittal of Salman Khan in 2002 hit-and-run case, but refused to fast track it.<br/><br/>The high court had overturned a lower court's order and acquitted Salman of all charges in the case as it observed that there were not enough evidence to charge him.<br/><br/>The victim, Niyamat Shaikh, in a separate petition, has also claimed that the Bombay High Court wrongly acquitted Salman Khan in the case. He also claimed that his statements before the police and the trial court were ignored by the High Court.<br/><br/>Shaikh maintained that Khan was under the influence of alcohol and was driving the vehicle at the time of accident.
