History channel & CBSE collaborate to conserve Indian monuments

Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE and Popular entertainment channel History on Friday announced a partnership to promote education and conservation of Indian monuments through schools affiliated to the board.

According to CBSE, The partnership envisages holding heritage quiz competition involving about 1000 schools. UNESCO will also play an active part in this initiative by putting together some questions.

Association between CBSE and History will provide a wider platform to CBSE to reach out to more and more schools and boost its drive to promote educational innovations and preserve and protect heritage monuments in the country.
