Hindi Diwas will be celebrated tomorrow in all Central Government Offices in the country. A series of functions are being organised on this occasion throughout the country to promote the successful implementation of the official language. The Vice President Mohammed Hamid Ansari will also give away Rajeev Gandhi Gyan-Vigyan Maulik Pustak Lekhan Puraskar and Indira Gandhi Raj Bhasha Purskar for excellent work done in Hindi in the various offices of the governemnt. According to an official release, the programme being organized on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the adoption of Hindi as Official Language by the Constitutional Assembly will help create an atmosphere for successful implementation of the official language policy of the Union.
