Himachal Pradesh won the champion trophy in the 41st All India Electricity Board Kabaddi tournament held at Tiruchirapalli in Tamil Nadu. In the final held last evening Himachal Pradesh defeated Punjab 36-22. Tamil Nadu Minister for Tourism Vellamandi Natarajan, Minister for Backward classes and minority welfare S Valarmati gave away the Champions trophy and prizes. More than 15 teams from Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Delhi, Haryana Electicity Boards competed in the four-day tournament according to Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation senior sports officer K R Sivakumar.
