Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal has launched first of its kind electronic catalogue in the country for the tourism department in the Himachal Pradesh.The catalogue showcases tourism potential of the state guiding visitors about various places and holiday options.This move would boost up the economy of the state as tourism happens to be an integral part of the state.Mr Dhumal said, in the age of information technology such an electronic version of catalogue was the need of the hour.The state has emerged as-round-the-year tourist destination, barring tribal areas of Lahaul and Pangi valleys, which remains cut offdue to heavy snow on Passes during winter.
