Himachal Pradesh govt postpones Swarnim Himachal Rath Yatra due to rising COVID-19 cases

<span style="color: #222222;">In the wake of rising COVID-19 cases the Himachal Pradesh State Government has decided to postpone the Swarnim Himachal Rath Yatra. The decision was taken in a COVID review meeting under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur in Shimla today.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">   </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Chief Minister said decision on Himachal Swarnim Rath Yatra would be taken after the COVID situation in the state normalizes. Jairam Thakur said instructions have been given to all district administrations to undertake vaccinations and tests for COVID-19 on campaign mode.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">It may be recalled that the yatra was scheduled to be started on coming 15 April on the occasion of Himachal Diwas as a part of celebrations of Golden Jubilee of Statehood of Himachal Pradesh.</span><br />
