Himachal Pradesh government has extended the existing night curfew in Shimla, Mandi, Kangra and Kullu districts, till 5th of next month, in order to contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The decision to extend the curfew was taken in a state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur in Shimla today.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The curfew will remain imposed in these districts from 9 pm to 6 am.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''It may be recalled that earlier, the state government had decided to impose a night curfew from November 23 to December 15.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Meanwhile, the state registered 12 more COVID-19 fatalities today, taking the death toll in the state to 813.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''While 676 patients were also recovered from the disease today, taking the total number of recoveries to 41954.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The total infection count of the state stands at 49761.</span><br />
