Himachal Pradesh CM Jai Ram Thakur presents budget of over Rs 44,000 crore for 2019-20

<span style="color: #222222;">Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur presented a budget of over 44,000 crore rupees for financial year 2019-20 at the State Assembly in Shimla today. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The budget is an increase of 7 per cent which is around 3,000 crores more of current financial budget. The Chief Minister also announced 15 new schemes for various sections while presenting his second budget.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports that the budget is focused more on rural population and no new tax has been proposed. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Annual plan of Rs 7100 crore have been kept for increasing farm productivity, developing rural infrastructure, creating new sources of irrigation, flood control along with social services.  </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In this budget the state Government managed the existing liabilities and expenditure on account of new schemes. The Highlight of this year budget is compassion, equity, justice and support for the rural areas and to touch every section of the society. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The budget aim at attaining improved quality of life, elimination of poverty, better health and more livelihood opportunities under the framework of Sustainable Development Goals, by 2022.</span><br />''
