In Himachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur conducted an aerial survey of flood-affected region Shahpur in Kangra district today. After an aerial survey, the Chief Minister also visited the worst-affected Boh region of Shahpur in Kangra district and took stock of the damage caused by the flood. <br />''<br />''He directed the District Administration to carry out relief and rehabilitation work on a war footing in the affected areas. Mr Thakur said, all possible help would be provided to the families affected by the floods and their rehabilitation will be ensured. He said,  financial assistance worth four lakh rupees each will be given to the families of those who lost their lives in this natural calamity. The Chief Minister said, the government would also extend all possible help to the people whose houses were damaged in this calamity.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">It may be recalled that as many as 10 people have been trapped in residential houses at Boh region in Shahpur in Kangra district due to a landslide triggered by heavy rain since yesterday. Two bodies have been recovered so far while the search for eight others is still on. Rescue operation is being carried out by NDRF in collaboration with the District Administration.</span><br />
