Temperatures hovered above normal at many places in the northern region even as higher reaches in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir reeled under intense cold. The Met office said, people in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh had some respite from the winter chill with minimum temperatures settling one to five degrees above normal at most places. <br/> <br/>The national capital witnessed another warm day with the minimum temperature remaining above the 11 degree mark for the third successive day on Sunday. <br/> <br/>In Himachal Pradesh, fresh spell of snowfall in higher reaches has aggravated cold wave condition in the hill state. Lahaul and Spiti experienced light snowfall on Sunday. <br/> <br/>In Jammu and Kashmir, a 35-year-old person died of cold in Ladakh region where people continue to shiver. Leh recorded a low of minus 10 degrees Celsius.<br/>
