In Himachal Pradesh Polling has come to an end. However, those electors who are standing in que inside the polling centres will be allowed to vote.

According to State Election Commission more than 68 per cent vote has been polled till 5.00 pm. .

The main contest is between the BJP and the Congress and political fate of their leaders including Veerbhadra Singh and Prem Kumar Dhumal will be decided in today's voting.

According to State Deputy Chief Electoral Officer, P.L. Negi polling is going on peacefully. Some Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) which had developed some problems have been replaced. Personnel of para military forces and state police are keeping a close vigil.
