Himachal Pradesh still reels under intense cold wave conditions with overcast skies and icy winds lashing the region. Sub-zero temperatures reported in some parts, even as minimum temperatures rose marginally.Minimum temperatures rose to 3.5 degrees Celsius in Shimla and Mandi, while Solan reeled under piercing cold wave conditions with a low of one degree Celsius followed by Sundernagar , Bhuntar and Dharamsala.Keylong in tribal Lahaul and Spiti district was slightly warmer with minimum temperatures rising to minus 11.4 degrees Celsius against minus 16.9 degrees yesterday.Kalpa in tribal Kinnaur district recorded a low of minus 3.5 degrees. Mercury dipped to 3.2 degrees in Una town and Mandi settled at 3.5 degrees.Maximum temperatures remained steady and close to normal but Shimla and Keylong recorded six degrees above normal. Foggy conditions prevailed in Kullu, Mandi, Bilaspur, Sundernagar and Rampur, hampering vehicular traffic this morning.The local Met office has predicted isolated rains or snowfall at some places across the state during the next 48 hours.
