<span style="color: #222222;">In order to strengthen the existing medical facilities to combat COVID 19 effectively the Himachal Pradesh state government has urged the Union Government to provide adequate number of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits along with rapid diagnostic kits to the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> <br />''AIR correspondent reports, while interacting with Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan through video conferencing Chief Minister Jaiaram Thakur asked for providing 60 ventilators for the state in the event of a contingency. Chief Minister said the state has identified about 6600 beds capacity for quarantine facility and 510 beds are available for isolation.<br />'' </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Besides this, 450 beds available for COVID-19 positive patients in the state. Jai Ram Thakur said  the State Government has  also notified six hospitals as COVID-19 hospitals in the state. He informed the union minister that at present the state has  21 active cases of COVID-19 and all of them are either Tablighi Jamaat or their primary contacts.<br />'' </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In order to help the State Government in identifying people with any kind of infection  Chief Minister said the government has launched door to door Active Case Finding Campaign in the state and over 60 lakh people have been investigated about their health. He said the whole state would be covered under this campaign in the next two days. Meanwhile, the State Government is  effectively enforcing a curfew in the state and also ensuring social distancing during the relaxation in the curfew.</span><br />''
