Himachal CM reviews current status of Covid-19 in state

<span style="color: #222222;">Himachal Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Friday chaired a high level meeting in Shimla to review the current status of Covid-19 in the state and took stock of various arrangements.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In view of rising Covid cases Jairam Thakur directed the health department to enhance the capacity of oxygenated beds in the hospitals.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Chief Minister said that he himself visiting various districts of the state to take stock of the situation with the officials. He said state has adequate availability of medicines, oxygenated beds, masks and sanitizers in the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said it is important to increase the participation of public representatives in order to bring public awareness regarding prevention from this pandemic at the grass root level.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">It may be recalled that so far 13,60,794 people have been screened for Covid-19 through RT-PCR, rapid antigen test, True-Nat and CV-Nat and the testing rate of the state is 194399 per ten lakh. On the other hand,  11,87,275 doses of Covid vaccines have been provided so far in the state.</span><br />''  <br />
