Himachal cabinet recommends the cancellation of the proposed winter Assembly session due to COVID19

<span style="color: #222222;">In wake of rising cases of COVID 19, the Himachal cabinet has recommended the cancellation of the proposed winter Assembly session scheduled to begin next week at Dharamshala. The decision not to convene the proposed winter assembly session from December 7 to 11 was taken in a state cabinet meeting chaired by the chief minister Jai Ram Thakur here in Shimla, today. In view of the increasing number of fresh Covid cases, the state government has also decided to conduct random sampling to identify the affected persons at an early stage to avoid further infection. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">All the ministers have also been asked to ensure effective implementation of Him Surksha campaign in their assigned districts. The Cabinet has also decided that all the Ministers, MPs, MLAs would hold virtual functions instead of public gatherings by strictly adhering to the SOPs issued by the State Government from time to time.  It also decided that for all the social gatherings permission of local SDM would be mandatory.</span>
