The American Secretary of State, Mrs. Hillary Clinton, has pledged support for Japan as it deals with the destruction of last month's earthquake and tsumani and the continuing nuclear crisis. Speaking during the visit to Tokyo, Mrs. Clinton said the United States and Japan had agreed to form a public private partnership for reconstruction under the guidance of the Japanese government. She described Japan as an indispensable partner for global security and progress.
