With this victory at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium in New Delhi, the Waveriders have consolidated their position at the top of the league standings with 27 points from six games, five points ahead of second-placed Ranchi Rhinos.For the Waveriders, South African Lloyd Norris Jones scored two goals, while Imran Khan and Rupinder Pal Singh once each. For Mumbai Magicians, ace drag-flicker Sandeep Singh scored all the three goals. Earlier yesterday, Ranchi Rhinos beat Uttar Pradesh Wizards 3-1. Mandeep Singh struck twice to help the Rhinos record a win in a match at Ranchi.
