Haryana government has decided to<br/>connect Gurgaon with Indira Gandhi International Airport<br/>through high speed metro rail connectivity and also taken up<br/>the issue of additional road links between Delhi and towns of<br/>National Capital Region.<br/><br/>A spokesman of Haryana Town and Country Planning Department said today that the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation<br/>Limited (DMRCL) has already been requested to prepare the<br/>detailed project report for which terms of reference were<br/>being finalised.<br/><br/>He said Haryana government has also taken up the issue of<br/>metro extension from Badarpur to Faridabad and from Mundka to<br/>Bahadurgarh.<br/><br/>He said the issue of additional road links between Delhi<br/>and towns of National Capital Region for connectivity have<br/>also been taken up and negotiated with the government of<br/>National Capital Territory of Delhi.<br/><br/>The Delhi government has agreed to provide two additional<br/>links to Gurgaon and efforts are being made for two more links<br/>for Gurgaon and one for Rajiv Gandhi Education City in<br/>Sonipat.
