Two days of high-level talks between China and the United States have opened in Beijing. The talks are aimed at setting up a strategic and economic relationship between the two countries over the coming years. The US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said the US China needed to work together to remove trade barrier and develop a more balanced global economy. Mr Geithner and some 200 US officials have joined Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at the talks in Beijing.
