Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh is presiding a high level meeting to decide on the issue of creation of smaller states. AIR correspondent quoting official sources reports, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee,Defence Minister A K Antony, Home Minister P Chidambaram and Law Minister M Veerappa Moily are attending the meet. The meet assumes significance as Justice Srikrishna Committee will submit its report on Telangana on Friday.The five-member Justice Srikrishna Committee was appointed by the Government of India in February this year in the backdrop of the agitation for and against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. The report is being submitted after an extensive field work in the wake of the demand for and against the bifurcation of the state.
