<span style="color: #222222;">India and Poland have affirmed to give further fillip to the trade ties between the two countries. A high-level delegation from Poland is on a two-day visit of Kolhapur in Maharashtra and today held a meeting under the chairmanship Member of Parliament from Kolhapur, Yuvraj Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati at Kolhapur.<br />'' <br />'' Both sides discussed the possibilities of bilateral trade in food processing, silver, and leather sectors. Feasibility of possible air connection with Poland from Pune and to set up a joint business forum between the two countries was also explored. The visit of high-level delegation from Poland was part of a historical visit of few Polish nationals who were residing at Valivade Camp in the aftermath of World War II.<br />'' <br />'' The then Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj had given them shelter where they stayed till 1948. A pillar in the memory of this historical event was also inaugurated on the occasion. About 25 of them who had then lived here visited Kolhapur and adjacent historical places and recalled those times.  </span><br />''  <br />
