The Minister for Petroleum and Gas, Dharmendra Pradhan has said that a high level committee has been set up to investigate the matter of Andhra Pradesh's Nagaram gas explosion.
He also said that the senior officials will visit the accident spot in Nagaram village of Amlapuram mandal.

They are already engaged in the rehabilitation and rescue operation and it is the government's primary concern, he added.

Talking to reporters in New Delhi the minister said that the directorate of safety has turned off the input and output points of gas supply. The fire has been doused but the situation still remains tense.

He also said that the department will go to the depth of the matter to find out the reason for the tragedy and they will initiate necessary steps for cent percent safety and security of the gas plant.
