The Madhya Pradesh High Court has pulled up the Centre for not filing a time-bound action plan for removal of toxic waste from the closed Union Carbide factory. The court had directed the central government on 27 of last month to file a time- bound action plan in this regard. It has asked the centre to come out with a clear stand as when and in what manner the waste will be disposed by the next hearing on June 27.
