In Assam, a high alert has been sounded all over the State in view of the court verdict on the Ayodhya issue on September 24. An official spokesman said that all precaution has been taken to contain flare up of communal violence in view of proposed court verdict in the State. He said, additional forces have been placed in all the vulnerable areas of the State to monitor the situation and act accordingly. Senior police officers have been asked not to take leave. Likewise, Ministers have also been advised to stay in station particularly on the day of the verdict.
