High Alert is sounded in Karnataka in the event of Ayodhya verdict on Thursday. Prohibitory order under section 144 till October 2 midnight is clamped. Schools and Colleges will remain closed on Thursday and day after. More than 50,000 civil police, 200 platoons of Karnataka Reserve Police and 12000 Home Guards will be deployed from Thursday morning to the day of Gandhi Jayanthi on October 2nd. Chief Minister Yeddyurappa has appealed to people to maintain peace and harmony and Home Minister R Ashoka has said that he is in constant touch with District Police superintendents and suspects are rounded off. <br/>
