High alert in Bihar after killing of Ranveer Sena Chief

In Bihar a high alert has been sounded in the state following the killing of Brahmeshwar Mukhiya founder of ersthwhile outlawed Ranveer Sena . After his killing this morning voilence broke out at Ara in Bhopur district. Curfew has been clamped in the area.The state government has constituted a special police investigation team to inquire into the killing of Brahmeshwar Mukhia. Chief minister Nitish Kumar has appealed to maintain peace and communal harmony. The incident occured at Katira Mohalla under Nawada police station of the district. Brahameswar Mukhiya, who was earlier facing life imprisonment in Bathani Tola massacre cases, was acquitted and released from jail in April this year. Jawans of Bihar Military Police have been in deployed in Ara to maintain law and order. RJD Supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, LJP Chief Ram Vilas Paswan and state Congress Chief Mehboob Ali Quaisar have demanded a CBI inquiry into the killing. Deputy Chief Minister Sushil kumar modi has however ruled out a CBI probe into the killing saying Bihar police is efficient to probe the case . Mr. Modi asserted that the guilty will not be spared.
