A youth from Mizoram has ed a heroic story during the lockdown in the country, when he has set an journey by ambulance from Chennai to Aizawl, a 3000 km path by road, accompanying the body of his friend Vivian Lalremsanga (28), who had met the untimely death of cardiac arrest in the southern state last week.<br />'' <br />''The Mizo Welfare in Chennai did everything in the process after the last breadth of Vivian, but they were not finding a way out to get his body to be flown back home due to the lockdown and suspension of all domestic flights.<br />'' <br />''Then a friend of the deceased, Raphael Malchhanhima, son of a missionary who hailed from an obscure little village called Hmawngbu in Mizoram turned up and started the journey with an ambulance team accompanying the body of Vivian. Many people say, it would set a record of the longest ambulance ride ever.<br />'' <br />''The ambulance has entered to Mizoram this morning. And, people, who were waiting for them for long hours at all town and village circles on the way to Aizawl, paid tribute to the deceased and gratitude of glory to the ambulance team alongwith provided food and drinking water.<br />'' <br />''His closed relations said the ambulance has reached Aizawl this afternoon, the home of deceased Vivian for the last rites. On the other, officials said, the friend of the deceased, Raphael will have to go through a 14-days mandatory quarantine once he reaches Aizawl, another tormenting experience.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Though the Mizo people's ethical practices encourage acts of bravery and self-sacrifice for the good of others, it is still a rare and inspirai deed that Raphael has set an example especially during the COVID pandemic when fear and panic envelops the country. </span><br />
