India's Deborah and Manorama Devi won a bronze in the team sprint event at Hero Asian Cycling Championships in New Delhi today. This is the second medal for the hosts in this competition. The pair defeated Malaysia's Faihah Shahwati Mohd Adnan and Nurul Alissa Mohamad Azman by coming home just 0.148 seconds ahead of their opponents.The gold medal went to Yu Shiou Cheng and Yu Ting Hung of Chinese Taipei with 37.219 seconds who set the new Championships record while the Koreans had to settle for silver.Deborah would be competing against Korea's Yeonhee Jang tomorrow for the gold medal in the sprint event. Also, she will be in contention for another bronze in the 4km team pursuit event on the final day.
