Rangana Herath claimed his maiden test hat-trick to consign Australia to their lowest total against Sri Lanka on the second day of the second test today. A total of 11 wickets fell in the dramatic morning session and Australia were bundled for 106 runs in their first innings. Sri Lanka playing their second innings are 103/5 and lead by 278 runs. Herath becomes only the second Sri Lankan cricketer to claim a test hat-trick; after seamer Nuwan Zoysa who had achieved the feat against Zimbabwe in 1999.
