In Uttarakhand, Hemkund Sahib – one of the most prominent shrine of Sikh community, has been opened for pilgrimage today. According to reports about 10 thousand pilgrims performed 'Ardaas' on the first day of opening of the shrine after winter season. The shrine was closed as per scheduled before onset of winter. Meanwhile, Lokpal temple and Valley of Flowers have also opened for tourists and devotees.
