JMM leader Hemant Soren met BJP president Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi to solve the crisis over government formation in Jharkhand. Hemant flew to Delhi along with his father and Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibh Soren and some party leaders and held a close door meeting with BJP Chief. Mr Gadkari again sought letters of support from all 18 JMM MLAs so that a stable BJP-led government could take charge in Jharkhand. The demand comes in the wake of Hemant's letter to BJP offering support for government formation. Sources said, BJP has placed three conditions before JMM, the letters of support, some sort of an assurance that the government will last for remaining four and half years and implementing Gadkari's 'politics of progress and development' formula for the backward state. Reports say, three Christian JMM MLAs are opposed to a BJP-led govt in Jharkhand. The State plunged into crisis after BJP announced to withdraw support to the Shibu Soren government on 28th of April, after the JMM chief voted against the BJP-sponsored cut-motions in the Lok Sabha.
