Former world number one Heena Sidhu clinched a Gold medal in the 10-metre air pistol event of the Asian Air Gun Championships in New Delhi yesterday. On the Final day of the Championships, Heena, who was India's first pistol shooter to be ranked number one in the world, shot a total of 197.8 points to finish at the top of the podium. The event's Silver medal also went to India as Shweta Singh scored a total of 197 points. Korea claimed the Bronze. Young Indian shooter Yashaswini Singh Deshwal, playing her first international final, finished fourth. India ended the continental event as toppers having a haul of 17 medals, including 6 Gold. Iran finished second.
